What is your family breathing?

The Environmental Protection Agency has ranked poor indoor air pollution among the top 5 risks for public health multiple years in a row. Without even knowing, your air duct system could be contaminated with particulates that are harmful for you and your family to breathe. Each time your heating and cooling system turns on, it can circulate dust, dust mites, animal dander, pollen and bacteria throughout the air inside your home.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Just like your air ducts you can’t see inside your dryer vent! Using our video inspection camera, we can show you all the dirt and lint that stays inside your dryer and vent once you have completed your laundry and cleared the lint trap. Lint will build up in the dryer, transition duct and exhaust duct which can reduce airflow and create a dangerous situation which can lead to overheating and dryer inefficiencies, and in some cases, fires. When moisture cannot escape it will invite mold and bacteria build up as well. By cleaning your dryer vent, we can help ensure your clothes dryer is both safe and energy efficient!

Lint is one of the most flammable items in your home! With estimates of 15,500 Canadian home fires being contributed to dirty dryer vents, it is more important than ever to get your dryer vent inspected and serviced.

DRYER VENT FAQ:

We recommend cleaning your dryer vent once a year. If the dryer vent is in regular use and you see a lint forming inside/outside the vent, the dryer takes too long to dry or the clothes are not fully dry even after several cycles – it is about time to call us, even if it hasn’t been a full year from your last service.

We clean the dryer vent from both inside and outside with rotating brushes, we check all the connections making sure no parts are missing or disconnected. We check the airflow at the end of the clean.

The dryer vent cleaning takes about an hour to clean. If there is an issue like disconnected ducting, clogged pipes etc., it will take a longer time to clean.

Yes, we definitely can. We also have a camera on hand to inspect the ductwork and see where the blockage is.

We clean your dryer vent from both inside and outside to make sure the whole ducting is cleaned and the airflow is restored.

Please reach out to us for the pricing. If there is an issue and the dryer vent takes longer to clean or there are parts that we need to replace, the price will be adjusted accordingly.

Cleaning the filter and area underneath is fairly beneficial. Outdoor exhaust should be kept clean too, airflow is significant part of any dryer’s efficiency. All the clothes and fabric should be ran through washing machine cycle beforehand.

HVAC FAQ:

We recommend cleaning your HVAC system once every two years. But if you notice a smell or dust flying from your air vents, it may require cleaning more often.

Our dry procedure involves vacuum hoses with rotating brushes. We feed registers with them, break down layers of dirt inside and vacuum it at the same time. Anything that’s left or easily accessible is vacuumed as usual.

We can offer additional ozone treatment which delivers sanitizing effect. It can be easily applied to your HVAC system.

The full HVAC system cleaning takes about 4-5 hours to complete with 2 technicians on site but it can vary depending on accessibility, amount of dust etc.

Unfortunately, we are not able to clean kitchen vents with our equipment. Greasy ducting requires different cleaning methods.

Replace furnace filter on regular basis. Vacuuming area underneath the registers helps too. We also recommend closing exposed registers (entrance) in summertime.
